CODE OF CONDUCT - COVID-19

IFDA is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all participants.  All Truck Driving Championship participants including, but not limited to attendees, speakers, exhibitors, staff and service providers are asked to exercise health and safety practices while traveling and participating in conference activities.

Before Leaving Home

• Follow relevant travel related guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and adhere to government issued travel restrictions and guidance issued by the region you will be traveling to and the region you are traveling from https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/travel-during-covid19.html
• Evaluate your own health and that of the people with whom you are in close contact

• Don’t travel if you are sick or if you have been around someone with COVID-19 within 14 days of the conference.

On-Site During the Event

• As of May 13, 2021 the CDC advises that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask or physically distance.https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated-guidance.html
• Those who are not fully vaccinated are advised to follow guidance from the CDC https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html for everyday actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses.

• Wash hands often with soap and water and or using hand sanitizer (with at least 60% alcohol) throughout the day.

• Seek medical advice if you are feeling unwell or are experiencing flu-like symptoms, as well as notifying Andrea Streat, IFDA Director of Conferences at [email protected]
