CODE OF CONDUCT - COVID-19

 

IFDA is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all participants. All participants including, but not limited to attendees, speakers, exhibitors, staff and service providers are expected to adhere to the safety precautions IFDA has established to protect against the spread of COVID-19. IFDA will work with the hotel to develop safety precautions that reflect the most up to date health and safety guidance and provides the greatest amount of individual guest flexibility possible. Before Leaving Home

  • Follow relevant travel related guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and adhere to government issued travel restrictions and guidance issued by the region you will be traveling to and the region you are traveling from https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/travel-during-covid19.html
  • Evaluate your own health and that of the people with whom you are in close contact https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/checklist-household-ready.html
  • Don’t travel if you are sick or if you have been around someone with COVID-19 within 14 days of the conference.

  • As of May 13, 2021 the CDC advises that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask or physically distance. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated-guidance.html
  • Those who are not fully vaccinated are advised to follow guidance from the CDC https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html for everyday actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses.
  • Wash hands often with soap and water and or using hand sanitizer (with at least 60% alcohol) throughout the day.
